What's Next?
The club events that are coming up, I'll enjoy a drink tonight with those
coming to the social.
You'll soon hear from Justine ref the X-Country and the getting your results
in to her for the equaliser.
We have the Xmas bash, with a lie in the next day! The Xmas handicap, followed
by the London marathon draw for those who wish to venture South, followed
by more drink.
The New Year brings us to the trips abroad with more socialising. What a club
we are..

Congratulations
to Justine for completing the 10th Kärnten IRONMAN Austria,
on July 13th 2008.
The Thursday runners went round to the house
of the IRON LADY and she was presented with a bunch of beautiful flowers..and
a kiss from the Chairman.

beautiful run in Thurstaton! Organised by Steve and Pauline the run was
thoroughly enjoyed by all present. The stretch along the beach was particularly

Summer run on the 24th July
Get yourselves
ready for the Summer
Run, leaving
the 'Tatch', Wheatsheaf at 1900hrs for the experience never to be forgotten.
Hopefully the grass is cut, paths are clear and we don't have much rain
so wellies not required. Refreshments will be at the half way point provided
free of charge!
Afterwards light refreshments unless you wish to try the local ale maybe
sought within the Tatch, we'll take over a corner again and organise a trip
or two. I have looked at the dates and my shifts so I hope we choose the
right one.
See you all ready turn the countryside tangerine!
