Birkenhead Athletic Club was formed in 1995 by a number
of friends running around Bebington...and other areas of the Wirral. They
decided we should formalise proceeding by becoming an affliliated running
club.
BAC is still a small friendly club consisting of both sexes who regularly
train together and participate in local races.
These include road races, multi-terrain and cross country events ranging from 5k right up to the Marathon.
Please have a look at our site and what we have to offer; no matter if you are new to running, fast or slow, or just like to run when time allows,
we are sure that you will find what you are looking for.
We cater for runners of all standards, with a good mix of ages and abilities
of both men and women... We participate in road, cross country and multi-terrain
races, all of which is optional, so no pressure. We also help organise, and
marshal some local multi-terrain events.
Why not come and join us? We can help you to get more out of your running,
and if you are new to Wirral, it's a great way to see more of the local area.
Group training takes place four times a week, meeting at the top of Levers
Causeway (see map below), Bebington on the following days:
Tuesday 17:30
Thursday 17:30
Saturday 08:00
Sunday 09:00

Please feel free to come along on any of the above days..
